Mr.M.V.Sudakar, with an M.Tech in Industrial Metallurgy from NIT Warangal & B.E from MREC Jaipur, serves as the Managing Partner of PMTLee Vacuum Technologies & its group companies in the Heat Treatment industry viz., Precision Metal Treaters (PMT) & Sushmitha Metal Treaters (SMT). With 40 years of hands on experience and distinguished leadership, he has shaped projects from inception and driven their growth. Under his leadership, PMT and SMT in Hyderabad earned recognition for delivering high-quality, reliable services in conventional heat treatment of tools & die steels. PMTLee also became well known for its expertise in vacuum heat treatment. His substantial knowledge in Metallurgy & farsighted leadership acted as the driving force behind the successful.

Mr. M.V Sudakhar, with an M.Tech in Industrial Metallurgy 1985 from NIT Warangal & B.E 1982 from MREC Jaipur, started his career at Malhotra Shaving Products ltd from 1985 to 1987, which requirs continuous heat treatment then from 1987-1989 worked in Machine Tools Aids & reconditioning ( MTAR ) dealing with various special heat treatments used for defense, Aerospace, Atomic power board, Nuclear power corporation, ISRO, HAL & similar organizations, in 1989 started conventional heat treatment Precision Heat Treaters (PMT) & Susmitha Heat Treaters (SMT) then in 2013 started serving as the Managing Partner of PMTLee Vacuum Technologies & its group compinies in the Heat Treatment industries viz., Precision Metal Treaters (PMT) & Susmitha Metal Treaters (SMT) , with 40 years of hands on experience & distinguished leadership, he has shaped projects from inception and driven their growth.

Vacuum heat treatment is a process performed in an oxygen-free environment within a sealed chamber. This eliminates oxidation, decarburization, and scaling, resulting in components with a bright, clean surface finish and superior metallurgical properties.
We specialize in all major tool steel categories including High-Speed Steels (M2, M35, M42, etc.), Cold Work Steels (D2, DC53, A2, etc.), Hot Die Steels (H13, H11, Dievar, etc.), Stainless Steels (SS420, SS440C, etc.), and Plastic Mould Steels (P20, NIMAX, HPM Series, etc.).
Cryogenic treatment involves cooling components to -120°C immediately after quenching to convert retained austenite into martensite. This process enhances wear resistance, dimensional stability, and extends tool life.
We adhere to NADCA, ASM & ASTM Standards for heat treatment practices. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified, with AS9100D in progress.
Our furnaces are thyristor-controlled and equipped with multiple thermocouples monitoring chamber, job surface, and core temperatures. This ensures temperature uniformity within ±5°C throughout the cycle.
We also make sure all our thermocouples, digital meters, instruments and equipment are calibrated periodically every 3 months.
PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) automation ensures that every heat treatment cycle is fully automated from start to finish. This eliminates human intervention, ensures repeatability, and allows us to store programs for future use.
Yes. Our SCADA-based monitoring system provides real-time data acquisition and detailed analytical reports for every batch, ensuring complete traceability.
Vacuum tempering is performed in a vacuum environment, resulting in a clean, oxide-free surface without requirement of post-treatment cleaning. Normal tempering is performed in air and may require additional cleaning or grinding.
Partial pressure heat treatment introduces a controlled amount of inert gas during high-temperature processing to prevent alloying elements from evaporating, ensuring consistent material chemistry.
